The group meet on the 3rd Thursday in the month in the afternoon but sometimes all day visits, talks and trips will be arranged.
The activities of the group include the following:
1. Visits to historic houses, gardens, museums, follies or other places of historic interest
2. Research and presentation by members concerning a favourite person, place or event
3. Consideration of “Anniversaries” (i.e. “On this day…”)
4. Talks by specialists on historic items of particular interest
