This Badminton group meet every Friday at 10.00am and play until noon. The group was formed in 2015 and has run weekly since that date.

Members are experienced players and we welcome any new members if a space becomes available.

FEES:

There is a monthly payment from each player which equitably shares the cost of the hall hire between all of the group. You will be expected to contribute to this whether you play every week or not (Currently £5.00 per month).

EQUIPMENT:

You are recommended to bring your own racquet, this should be a lightweight modern design. You may like to bring a bottle of water too. The net and equipment are provided by u3a. We have two spare racquets available for your use.

You must be a fully paid up member of u3a to play, non members may attend two sessions before being invited to join the group.

Trainers with good grip with white soles. No black soles as these mark the flooring. Ordinary comfortable clothing is OK.

ATTENDANCE:

You should contact the leader should you be unable to attend in advance and if possible we would appreciate players letting us know at least 24 hours beforehand.
